Daniel Berlin

I am a junior majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Statistics. I got involved with the Actuarial Science Club at the beginning of my freshman year and had my first executive board position in the spring of that year. I was the assistant director of corporate outreach for the 2020 calendar year then I was the vice president for the 2021 calendar year. I am also involved with the professional co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, which I also got involved with at the beginning of my freshman year. A couple of my past positions in Alpha Kappa Psi were Thon chair and secretary, and I am currently the president. During my freshman year I was also on a Rules and Regulations Thon committee and participated in Nittany Consulting Group’s consultant training program. After my freshman year I participated in Prudential’s ASAP program then participated in the Actuarial Internship Program during the summer of 2021. I also participated in Aon’s mentorship program during the spring 2021 semester. Next summer I will be an actuarial summer scholar at Deloitte. I have passed exams P, FM, and IFM. In my free time I really enjoy working out and cooking!

Hi everyone! My name is J.P. Grattan. I'm from North Wales, PA, and I'm a Junior majoring in Actuarial Science through Smeal, with minors in Economics and Statistics. In 2021, I served as the Actuarial Science Club's Director of Finance. This past summer, I interned with Munich Re in New York City, working in the pricing department of their life reinsurance division. This upcoming summer, I will be interning with Cigna in their Philadelphia office. Outside of Actuarial Science, I serve as the Standards Chair and THON Fundraising Chair for my fraternity. I'm also a big sports fan, and I love playing and watching football, baseball, and soccer.

Hello! My name is Jack Berry (he/him), and I am an Actuarial Science major through Smeal. In addition, I am pursuing minors in Statistics and Economics. In terms of experience, I interned at Highmark in the summer of 2020 and at Aetna in the summer of 2021; I will be interning at Cigna in the summer of 2022. In my free time, I love to read and learn however I can.

This summer, I will be working as an Actuarial Advisor Intern for KPMG in Philadelphia. Additionally, I have been an active member of the Actuarial Science Club since freshman year, and I previously served as the Director of Technology on the executive board. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, playing pickup sports, and enjoying outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking. |
