Welcome to our Career Fair page! The Penn State Actuarial Science Career Fair is one of the largest student run actuarial career fairs in the US. The fair, and your registration fees, are the primary fundraiser for the Actuarial Science Club. Your support has helped fund many valued student programs including TIA Technical Skills Course, study tools from Actex, Adapt and TIA, and allows a smoother transition to your company with students that are well-rounded. We thank you for your interest in Penn State!

**The Career Fair is the 2nd monday in September every year
We will officially be hosting the Career Fair in the Business Building Atrium. We look forward to seeing you there in-person!

Registration Fees:
STANDARD SPONSOR: $600

• Participate in the Career Fair
  • 6' table
  • First come, first serve for choosing where your table will be
• Ability to have an online event
• Access to the Resume Book (Week of September 5th) and booking Information Session time and date after Platinum Sponsors

PLATINUM/TOP SPONSOR: $3000

• Participate in the Career Fair
  • 2 6' table at the Career Fair instead of one 6'
  • In the middle of the atrium
• Full page advertisement in the Career Fair Brochure
• Guaranteed 2 rooms in the business building for interviewing
  • ​Day after Career Fair
• Ability to sponsor an in-person event
  • Company lunches, Coffee Chats, Case Competition, Field trip, and more!
• Early access to the Resume Book (August 15, 2022)
• Exposure to students in Penn State Actuarial Science Bootcamp
• Promotion on the website front page and during club events (major forum slides and Fall general body meetings)

​Actuarial Science Career Fair Registration includes:

• Ability to post vacancy announcements on Nittany Lion Careers before the fair (strongly encouraged).
• Your company logo and information on vacancies in the Career Fair Brochure sent to all students.
• Time slot for a virtual information session, or tentatively in-person (request when submitting the information session registration booking). ​​

Tentative Schedule:
Preparation: 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Recruiters will be able to set up their booth.
Career Fair: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM 
Open floor for meeting students.

Job Offers:
To provide students with adequate time to assess and compare job offers, we request that companies consider giving students at least 15 business days. Many companies keep offers open until November 1.

Additional information is available for scheduling information sessions and interviewing.

Brochure Ads:
The Actuarial Science Club distributes a brochure to all actuarial students with information about the companies attending the Career Fair.  Our top sponsors can place a full-page ad in it (send them to psuactuarial@gmail.com in advance to prepare the brochure).
